Simeon is a Corporate Partner in the Lagos office of Wole Olanipekun & Co. He leads the Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice. He has an extensive experience in all aspects of White-Collar Defence, Investigations, Compliance and Corporate Governance.
Simeon has worked at the World Health Organization in Geneva, the World Bank in Washington, and the African Development Bank in Tunis on the broad area of governance in bank-funded projects. He also served as a Senior Counsel with the Independent Inquiry Committee investigating allegations of fraud and corruption in the United Nations ‘Oil-for-Food’ Programme.
In these roles, he garnered considerable experience investigating complex cross-jurisdictional incidents of fraud and corruption in numerous countries. Prior to joining Wole Olanipekun & Co, Simeon served as a Partner at a leading law firm in Nigeria and also as a Financial Advisory Services Manager at Deloitte in South Africa.
Simeon is a Senior Fellow at the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies where he teaches post graduate classes in Law and Development & Corporate Criminal Liability.
