Adekunbi brings to the firm a wealth of experience as a transactional lawyer, having worked in leading law firms in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She has advised clients on several cross-border commercial transactions and also represented them at international arbitration proceedings – such clients have included financial institutions, state & federal government agencies, oil & gas companies, international and national NGOs as well as other big corporates. Adekunbi has an LL.B from the University of Hull and an LL.M (Distinction) from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She was also named as a recipient of the ‘McKinsey Next Generation Women Leaders in Nigeria’ award in 2018. Adekunbi regularly speaks at conferences such as the International Bar Association Conference 2019 (South Korea) and the Commonwealth Law Conference 2019 (Livingstone, Zambia).
