Welcome to Wole Olanipekun & Co.

Established in 1980, we are a fully serviced legal practice that has earned a reputation for consistently exceeding the expectations of our clients. The philosophy that inspires our business strategy is to provide efficient and value driven legal services engineered to suit the individual needs of each client within the permissible limits of the law and anchored on the basis of honesty, diligence and integrity.

We operate from three fully functional offices in Lagos, Abuja and Ilorin. We also have a representative office in Akure and strong professional presence in 29 states across Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The firm is headed by its founder, Chief Wole Olanipekun. In 1991 he became the youngest recipient (as at then) of the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria. Chief Olanipekun’s has held different offices including being a former Attorney General of the Old Ondo State, Past President of the Nigerian Bar Association, former council member of the International Bar Association and Commonwealth Bar Association, Vice President (West Africa) of the Pan African Law Union and a life member of the Nigerian Body of Benchers.

The firm is staffed and operated by a team of lawyers with diverse qualifications and expertise to reflect and satisfy our equally diverse clientele base and practice areas.

We demonstrate a deep understanding of and also engage in continuous development and upgrade of competence in the legal requirements and implications of operating in the major sectors of the Nigerian economy, whilst keeping fully abreast of global trends in similar and different jurisdictions. This has made us a preferred point of call for major multi–national companies, private entrepreneurs, state-owned corporations, governments, governmental departments and agencies, banks and financial institutions and high-net worth individuals who require industry specific legal services.

We have similarly also deliberately developed competence in constitutional, pre- and post-election dispute resolutions, thereby handling a wide range of complex constitutional and election-related litigations including successful defence of the petitions against the 2007 and 2011 elections of Presidents Umaru Musa Yaradua and Goodluck Jonathan.

Many members of the firm’s Alumni have performed and still play significant roles in the Legal Profession as Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Judges of Superior Courts of Record, University Dons, Secretaries and Legal Advisers of various Blue Chip Companies, Attorneys General of different States etc. In 2015, a Managing Partner in the firm, Dr. Oladapo Olanipekun was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, setting a record as the youngest Nigeria to be so elevated.

By consistently evolving means to satisfy the needs of our clients, we take full advantage of the latest technological business support tools to deliver on-demand services to our clients in record time. We also build close relationships with leading commercial institutions globally so that our clients can leverage on these relationships.
