On 19 November 2026, Abuja will host a distinguished gathering of eminent personalities from the legal profession, industry, and public life for the public presentation and unveiling of the six-volume collection, Wole Olanipekun Through the Cases. The landmark occasion, expected to be graced by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will celebrate the remarkable milestone of our Principal Partner, Chief Wole Olanipekun, CFR, SAN’s 50 years at the Nigerian Bar, while recognising his enduring contributions to jurisprudence, the advancement of the legal profession, and the development of Nigeria’s legal landscape. The event is scheduled to hold at 1:00 p.m. at the Body of Benchers Complex, Institutions and Research District, FCC, Phase III, FCT, Abuja.
The occasion will also feature the WOC Justice Summit 2026, themed: “From Precedent to Possibility: The Lawyer’s Role in Shaping the Next Fifty Years of Justice, Democracy and Public Trust.”The Summit will provide a platform for thought-provoking conversations on justice, governance, democracy, and the evolving responsibilities of the legal profession in shaping Nigeria’s future.
The panel session will feature an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers, including Mrs. Miannaya Essien, SAN, Managing Partner, Principles Law Partnership; Mr. Tony Elumelu, CFR, Chairman, Heirs Holdings and Transcorp Plc; Prof. Dakas C.J. Dakas, SAN, former Attorney-General of Plateau State; and Mr. Israel Adekunle Adeniyi, Best Graduating Student, Nigerian Law School, 2026.
The session will be moderated by our Managing Partner, Bode Olanipekun, SAN, who will guide the conversations and engagements around the Summit’s central theme.
