About the lawyer

Shola is widely experienced in dispute resolution, with a bias for corporate and commercial law. He acts as Counsel for multinational Energy/Oil & Gas majors in several complex and landmark litigations before various courts of record in Nigeria.

He regularly defends IOCs and LOCs against multimillion USD environmental claims by host communities and regulators. He also acts in contractual and interest disputes alongside several other procedural and enforcement matters that arise from litigations and arbitral proceedings.

Shola takes on pre-election/post-election matters, successfully representing several State Governors and Legislators at Election Petition Tribunals and Appellate courts. He demonstrates the distinction of being directly mentored by Chief Richard Akinjide, SAN and Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN; two of the most renowned and successful litigation experts in Nigeria in the past three decades.
