Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, CFR, Delivers Keynote Address at the 11th Edition of Pastor E.A. Adeboye Annual Public Lecture
On Saturday, March 2nd, 2025, our Principal Partner, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, CFR, served as the guest speaker at the 11th Edition of the Pastor E.A. Adeboye Annual Public Lecture. The event, organized by the Triumphant Elder Consultative Forum, was held in celebration of Pastor Adeboye’s 83rd birthday and centered on the theme: “Justice and Equity: Solution to Socioeconomic Problems in Nigeria.”
In his address, he examined the core issues underpinning Nigeria’s socioeconomic challenges and proposed practical solutions. He emphasized the need for collaborative efforts between the government and citizens to address these issues effectively.
Speaking on the need for comprehensive restructuring, he stated:
“Restructuring Nigeria, to my mind, is not just about the structural and physical, but also include the humane aspect of governance, which is very essential. The point must be made that governments all over the world now pursue social justice, and social justice is aimed at revamping humanity; revamping humanity is geared towards kindness; kindness encompasses sympathy and human feeling; this dovetails to selflessness; and selflessness would naturally result in a corruption-free society, for selfless leaders will not steal or appropriate what belongs to the collective, the commonwealth of all of us.”
The lecture concluded with an interactive session where Chief Olanipekun responded to questions from the audience, further elaborating on his vision for a just and equitable Nigeria.
