As part of Nigeria’s broader digital transformation agenda, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, has officially released the draft Technical Standards for Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The Agency is inviting the public; citizens, private sector players, academia, civil society organisations, and international partners, to review the draft and provide constructive feedback.
This draft represents a significant milestone in Nigeria’s efforts to build a secure, interoperable, and inclusive digital economic system. It is aimed at enhancing public service delivery, driving economic growth, and ensuring that digital innovation contributes meaningfully to national development.
